Summer 2025

Graphic design internship

During the summer of 2025, I interned at IU’s Center for Rural Engagement in Bloomington, Indiana. During my time there, I served as a Graphic Designer on the Communications Team. I designed social graphics, email headers, event posters, and layout maps that supported initiatives in surrounding rural communities. I also completed County Photo Tours, where I photographed nature, landmarks, and historic areas that highlight the unique character of these nearby counties. You can find these photos in the “Extras” tab.

Food As Medicine

During my internship I designed materials for a project called Food as Medicine, an initiative that provides local food and resources as part of the statewide Indiana Healthy Opportunities for People Everywhere (I-HOPE) effort. In collaboration with Dr. Julia Valliant of Indiana University Sustainable Food Systems Science and The Ostrom Workshop, the Center for Rural Engagement publishes a Cookbook and accompanying recipe cards to distribute to citizens in the Indiana Uplands region. During this project, I updated the cookbook with new recipes, and formatted new recipe cards ahead of their distribution. Click on the images above to checkout the FAM Cookbook in it’s entirety!
